It's said that if anything is worth doing it's worth doing properly. When was the last time you did something 100% corrrect? When was the last time you started and finished something? Is your excuse too much to do and too little time? Or is it: it's not worth it? When last did you empty your tank?

On the 16^th March 2012 Indian batsmen Sachin Tendulkar broke the world record for the most runs scored in test cricket. He is India’s batting supremo. He can also bowl, but is renowned for his batting prowess. In fact, he started for the Indian cricket team at the tender age of 17. Looking back and reflecting at his rise to be one of the most respected batsmen in cricket history, we can safely say that Sachin Tendulkar was born to bat. It is like how Michael Schumacher was born to drive; Rafael Nadal was born to play tennis; Natalie Du Toit was born to swim; Meryl Streep was born to act; Jamie Oliver was born to cook; Adele was born to sing.

It Happens

Ever bought a car or an outfit and suddenly you become more aware of others that have the same as you? You also start making comparisons and noting differences. This is the same: as you don’t know what you don’t know. I have come across this with people in their daily lives where change in their lives is vital, but it is not happening. Why is it not happening? Because they are not aware that change is needed. And why are they not aware that change is needed? It is because they are in a comfort zone; perhaps content with the situation at hand. So what happens? They are unaware of messages in powerful conversations or communication. They are unable to pick on the nuggets of gold when it is presented to them. They can’t recognize words of wisdom when spoken to them. Some words and efforts are wasted on them. You will be surprised: even a tragic event or negative turnaround in life will not make them aware. Don’t give up. All is not lost. Persevere- the result is at the end.
